What Happens At The Club
The Irish American Club - East Side is a social organization that relies on the volunteerism of our members to fulfill rolls behind the scenes. Members take care of our families after funerals, and are also responsible for bar tending, entertainment, housekeeping, kitchen staffing and maintenance.
The Club published a monthly newsletter, The Schanachie, that highlights the upcoming events, committee updates, club events and current issues involving the Irish culture.

Fife and Drum Corp - Practice begins Sunday, January 3 from 11 am - 1 pm. Come and learn traditional march tunes for the St. Patrick's Day season. Contact Mike Keenan for additional information.
Flag Corp- Weekly practices will being on Sunday January 3 from 11 am - 1 pm. Any girl 12 and over interested in being in the Flag Corp is welcome to join. Parents MUST be IACES members. Contact Beckie Hart with any questions.
Ladies Drill Team - The first meeting and practice is Thursday, January 7th at 6:30 pm. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a cultural experience, meet new people, spend time with friends and represent our club. Contact Janet Smrdel for more information or email at janster00@a.tt.net
Pipe Band - The Pipe Band is always looking for new members. Piping and drumming lessons are offered at the Club on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7 -9 pm. Must be an IACES member. For more information contact Bruce Greig or email him at bgreig@yahoo.com.

For Every Age Group
The Club is great for members of any age, and has several social groups aimed at different member including Golden Shamrocks (55+), MAGIC (45+) and Young Irish Persons (YIPS).
IACES also has a Pipes and Drums band that hosts an annual Hooley.
There are several family events planned every year including a Halloween Party, Christmas Party and St. Patrick's Day party so the entire family can enjoy the events.
Sports
The Club has an annual bar bowling league, golf league and an annual golf tournament.

In January 1978, a group of East Side Irishmen gather before the Super Bowl game to hold the first organizational meeting of what evolved into the Irish American Club - East Side Inc.

In Memoriam
In the lower hall of the Club, there is an "In Memoriam" plaque inscribed with the names of deceased Club members. If you would like to honor a friend or loved on who has passed away by having his or her name added to the plaque, please send the name along with a $50 check made payable to the Irish American Clube East Side, Inc.
